International Drive adds many unique venues to the Orlando landscape.

Orlando Eye Complex
If you haven't visited International Drive recently, you are in for a treat.  Everyone that drives on I-4 has certainly seen the new Orlando Eye as they drive by, but have you seen all the shiny new things that are popping up in the surrounding area?

Mango's Tropical Cafe Orlando
The ever evolving landscape of International Drive and the surrounding Orlando area has seen some dramatic growth in the past several years.  With the addition of the Orlando Eye and it's surrounding complex, the additions and upgrades to Pointe Orlando, and all the new construction close to the Sand Lake and International Drive intersection, we have seen 15-20 new restaurants and unique venues pop up.  We have seen popular national chains, like Yard House, Outback and Blue Martini arrive to the area.  We have also seen the rise in unique venues with only several locations, such as Lafayette's, Minus 5 Ice Bar, and the all new Mango's Tropical Cafe

Orlando has always been a hot bed for Tourism and Conventions, but since the 2008 recession, the growth has been skyrocketing.   Orlando became the first destination in the country to surpass 60 million visitors in 2014, and did even better in 2015.  Investors are recognizing this trend and are trying to capitalize on the sheer number of people visiting the City Beautiful.  While construction has been booming in the Disney and International Drive areas, the rest of Orlando has seen the benefits of the tourism through the ripple effect.
Rendition of Orlando City Soccer Stadium
Downtown has seen the addition of the Amway Center, Dr Phillips Center for Performing Arts, renovations to the Orlando Citrus Bowl, and a new MLS Stadium (under construction)- all aided by the tourism tax dollars that are being pumped into the local economy from guests, domestic and abroad.

The next few years will be just as exciting as the last few, as Orlando will see even more new and exciting venues coming to the area.  We are very happy to be a part of the growth, and look forward to seeing the evolution of Orlando.
